She's gone. We euthanised her an hour ago. I've brought her home for burial. She had kind words and gentle pats as she went under.

She was a wonderful hen and had a great life with you.

I'm very proud of giving her a home when she needed one.

You absolutely should be. It probably seemed like a small thing at the time but it meant everything to her. Everything. How blessed you both were to find each other.

Words cannot describe the sorrow I feel for you. You went above and beyond for her. She was a well loved chook and she knew it.
