Sure. Her front end caught up with her back end since I last described her. The skin on her face sas salmon pink yesterday instead of baby pink. So perhaps an egg will turn up soon.

Mary's trust in me continues to grow. I can get quite close without her getting up, especially if I don't make eye contact and I'm clearly doind something to help her, like providing cooler water. I hope she lets me pat her one day.

It took quite a while for Charlie to squat for me, and even now she only does it now and again. When I lift her off an egg she gets flappy and panicky, but then when I put her down she lets me stroke her. Hopefully Mary will let you pat her soon, but by the sounds of it she won't ever be a lap-chicken. I'm hoping at least one of my Faverolles will be!![]()
