The chooks tried banana for the first time today and they loved it!

I still have not done that. I gave them apple cores for the first time Friday. They loved those.

Good Lord. I can’t believe you have not tried bananas. If you want your chickens to jump all over you then settle into a chair in the yard and eat a banana. Well try to eat a banana. I go into the run with 3 bananas and I figure I get most of one. Maybe. Mine go nuts for bananas!

I eat apple quite often because they grow in the Adelaide hills and I like to buy local. Bananas are a rare treat because they grow in a more tropical climate. But they looked so good at the shop, I bought some! And they're delicious

Sitting on the floor with Fat Bird. She was asleep under the desk until I got up and disturbed her. I think she likes to get away from the youngsters a bit. She used to have Ruffles as company and often they could be found together a bit away from the rest of the tribe. I guess I am the only constant in her life now.
