MJ's little flock

I made a new floor plan for Cluckerston Hall. I realised ramps with a long, gentle slope wouldn't fit so I switched to successive tree stump steps, which can be placed in curves.

The look but don't touch (LBDT) section would come into use when pullets arrive, every 2 or 3 years. Otherwise, it would be integrated with the whole complex, via the wide door beneath the roosting box. This means the LBDT tree stump "ramp" would be deconstructed, the LBDT opening to the roost closed, and the framed wire divider removed.

The roosting box would still have its exterior doors for cleaning out the bedding and saying goodnight, and removable roosting bars.

I think this works ok, except I haven't decided where to place the rainwater tank.

That looks like it will work. It sure will make integration easier. I love the tree stumps but why remove them. I would leave them in for entertainment purposes.
