We do, but we tend to take it further than the Brits. We developed the saying “Having a Barry Crocker” which means ‘having a shocker’ ie having a terrible day. That got shortened down to “having a Baz”.

It's a lot healthier than my Vegemite toast and tea.

This one I remember as I Googled "lizard drinking" and immediately got the sarcasm. I knew that one. I may start using "sinking some tins". I like that one.
