I'm always mixing up people's names. Just last week I called Matt "Oliver."

Hopefully Matt exercised a little kindness towards me in that moment.

From where I stand, bybob and rjohns have established a precedent. Everyone should be called Bob.

Works for me. I've been called worse for sure.

I don’t know if @Aussie-Chookmum remembers from our SCA days, but I seem to remember that if you were a lady dressed as a man, you were called ‘Bob’; as homage to the second Blackadder series where a lady dressed up as a man and said her name was “Kate... short for Bob”.

I was very proud of you. I have been that person who did not notice the date on a post and stupidly posted something way out of date. It's embarrassing when you realize it.

I've done that too.

I saw the post and thought ???. Then I realized what must have happened and felt embarrassed sympathy.
