I guess you could consider that affection of a sort.

Ok well, Ivy woke up as usual, sitting on my knee. Mary woke up from two gentle pats on her back.

Now she's having an extremely over-stated bokking session while nibbling on the weeds the gardener threw in yesterday

My two salmon Faverolles, River and Nyssa, are my most shouty girls. River was down the back yesterday and the other four were by the back door. I think she panicked when she couldn’t see them and started hollering! No-one answered her so I had to go and get her!

I feel like she’s grooming me, so yes. One of the kitty litters we use is made out of tofu and apparently it’s tasty! When I’m cleaning out the litter box I have to keep Lucy away from it, otherwise she’ll eat it! So I squat down to block her path and she (gently) pecks me on the butt.
