As a look, I quite like it. If it comes with a robust genetic profile, all the better.

I like the look but until I joined BYC I don't think I had even seen a picture of a bearded hen. I've certainly not seen one here.

At least I'll know where the eggs are! Janet recently hid a stash from me when the broodies were taking up the nests.

I'm happy it's Saturday! Seems like a very cool and windy day. It might even give a drop of rain later. I'm not too far behind on work this weekend, so my mind is clearer than usual and intend to make the most of it!

How about you? Are you doing something that gives you joy?

I'm recovering from a mainland day yesterday. They are always so exhausting & I'm just not used to the noise & pollution.

I've only ever seen beards in pictures too.

I have 2 with beards ~ & muff & tuffs... I still find them rather weird looking.

I'm afraid so. We don't even have a set of street lights, let alone multiple lanes, round~a~bouts, sirens etc.
