MJ's little flock

He didn't weigh her but he said she's poorly :hitmaybe she'll thrive again once she's had a few days liquid food with enzymes in it.
She will be fine. It's the molt causing this. You may need to lock her up more next year and control the food available to her. Be sure to get advice on how to help her during the molt moving forward.

I hope that's the case Bob. Keep her from foraging and full of mash with enzymes. Rush her in for liquids if it appears she's slowing down.

I hope you do! I am so excited for you & can't wait to see your finished design!:celebrate
Well, here's the sketch I sent to the tradies :) "not to scale" is putting it mildly :lau but it conveys the right shape and the features

Peggy has been admitted for liquid feeding. I think this is a good option for her. I'm hoping it turns her around.

Mary laid an egg while travelling in the car! So we gave it to Dr Hill. She passed her checkup with flying colours! Trouble is, I'll have to bath her again because she spent the night sitting in the basket, which means she had to poop in her butt fluff. It's messy back there.
Good call with Peggy. I'm glad the vet can help.

So glad Mary's check up went well. 🥰

I've got such a lot of chicken news today.

The latest is that I received the quote from Lady Tradie for the covered run and accepted it.

It'll be 36.5m2 in a U shape with a tree in the middle of the U. The bottom of the U will be 1m away from the back fence so that a paved path can be put in all the way around.

After the path is paved, I'll turn my attention to building a new open coop within the covered run.

Very pleased to have received the quote at last :)
Yay! :ya

Take lots of before, during and after pics for us won't you? 🙏
