I am a big user of ‘not too bad’ or just ‘not bad’. I use ‘not too shabby’ as well.
But one has to be careful on line as people get easily offended. Maybe not in these threads though.

Yup, one has to be a bit mindfull. So many words have different meanings from nationality to nationality.
I was a bit shocked when I read, "ooh, they are so precious."
Here precious is not a nice thing to call someone. It is usually reserved for bratty little teenagers and pre teens who are in need of a bit of straight talking.
I think it's rather like Snowflake in the US before the term became politicized.
