Sharp eyes! Yes, that's staining from cetrigen.
I've made it! Relaxing was key. So was gentle rowing. But I've come back in early and left my friends out on the water. They were heading for a couple of ship wrecks and I didn't have the strength to paddle against the wind.
Here's a photo from deep in the mangroves. It was soooo peaceful in there.

I would really love to see that photo. I hope you had fun.I
There's a photo of me at the wheel of a tall ship, looking for all the world like I know what I'm doing: wind in my hair, rugged up warmly, head up, eyes on the horizon... When I don't. (I've no idea where the photo is but if I ever find it, I'll share it.)
I should be better at kayaking. But I can't go in a straight line. "keep your eyes on your destination" they say. Doesn't help. The kayak turns and takes me with it, i have to crick my neck all the way to keep my eyes on my target!![]()
But I'll enjoy it even if it does turn out to be another one of my maritime disasters.
I'm so glad for you! Just as I hoped! It was wonderful.
The silence was very soothingGood evening MJ and everyone
That looks so peaceful ❤ so glad your enjoying yourself.
I'd love to see it again too! I wonder where it is.I would really love to see that photo. I hope you had fun.
I only had two wobbly scares, one accidental beaching, and a half dozen or so going the wrong ways. For me, that's a very small number of kayaking mishaps. I became very skilled at doing the limbo under overhanging branches.I'm so glad for you! Just as I hoped!![]()

The waterways were amazing. Such clear water. We could see all the baby fish.
