I remember the first time I saw the Princesses having a dust bath. I had no idea they did that. I would have been alarmed except they were so clearly just having the best of times. I think I took really close up video but I can't find it now.

I had no idea either, saw Penny doing it from afar and thought it was a seizure of some sort

I thought they were dead the first time I saw them sunbathing. I was truly frightened.

Actually to this day they give me a little fright with the sunbathing thing.
Elizabeth in particular doesn't lower herself slowly and stretch out, she sort of crumples and pitches over on her side like she got shot. I fall for it each time and think she dropped down dead. Then she adjusts a wing or a toe and I realize she is in the sun and just enjoying herself.

That is how Aurora does it too! She is walking around and then, THUMP!

I do think this is her style because she is fat or as some say, well insulated. She put on weight this winter. I'm going to have to figure a way to slim her up.
