Maybe a lid of some kind is in order to keep the deposits from hitting the water? Could you maybe fasten something to the top?Thank you! That is not what Mrs BY Bob makes. She has a special extremely shallow pan and they do not rise at all. They come out 5 to 10 mm think depending on what is in themThey are very easy to make. Basically you melt about 4oz of butter in a deep pie dish then pour your batter in. The batter rises in funny shapes as it cooks

I would love a recipe. I have been using the time on a very boring work conference call to surf the internet and I have already learned the difference between a crepe and a pancake. A pancake rises and is thick, a crepe is thin and doesn't rise.Let me know if you need a recipe. I'm sure Mrs BY Bob would be willing to share.
