What would you change? What should I watch out for?
In the main bathroom we have a shower-bath and I got a converter that diverts the water to either the shower-head or the bath tap. It drips like crazy so we have to keep a bucket under the tap. If I did it again I would get two separate sets of taps.

Also, the toilets we chose we got as they are higher so less far to sit down when you’re old and frail. However, that’s not the best sitting position, plus the s-bends are really narrow so they can block easily, which is a real pest.

I can't tell much from your photo on my mobile's little screen, but that looks like the kind of tile surface I had in mind. But otherwise it's quite different fron what I'm imagining. The floor space is a rectangle and I was imagining no shower cubicle at all, just a big wet room with a shower in one corner, the bath along one wall, and a long gutter drain along one wall. A basin somewhere too. Which is not how you'd do it for a family, but it'd very safe for old people. And the house will be lived in by old or middle aged people without children for the next 50-80 years (assuming my beneficiaries age out), so the bathroom will work until it needs replacing.

Chickens have projects just like the rest of us. She is making more progress on her project than I am on any of mine. It is admirable. She looks better while doing it too!
Wellll, chickens look better than almost anything, so that's a very unfair comparison in my opinion.

Very helpful hints. Thanks!
