MJ's little flock

Wonderful photos. Are you no longer working from home?
I'm trying to think when it was we all went back to our workplaces. Last year I think because I went to the cinema new years eve.

Everyone has been diligent wrt doing what the medical authorities ask. So the pandemic didn't really get out of control except for that one cluster related to the pizza delivery guy.

But I personally have always had the freedom to choose where I work to an extent. Lately I've had many commitments at the office, so I've spent a lot of time there. Other times there's work to do but no people to see, so I stay home. I don't get paid as much as i would with other employers but I have more autonomy and that's important to me.

While the two are not actually related, mine usually are not laying when they molt. It is the amount of daylight which aligns with the molting season.
And season determines laying, right? But perhaps not as strongly as daylight determines moulting?

So because Ivy was a very late hatch, her laying is aseasonal. Does that seem right?

I'm very curious about these things.

Such bald patches.
