I would have to move there just so I could stop in every day. I can work remote so let me know when you open it!Every now and then I fantasise about opening an old fashioned tea shop![]()

Imagine the walls lined with books, cakes on trolleys, savoury pastries, tablecloths and napkins. Perhaps a shady garden area out the back where Ivy can make an appearance in the afternoons and help people clean up their crumbs. With some mod cons like excellent wifi and coffee for those who don't like tea.

If the time comes for eggs, she'll be in the little coop in a corner of the run, with puppy play pen panels keeping the others out. Or in the big coop by herself if the roost in the run is finished, and the others are accustomed to using it. I can't have Peggy and Janet upsetting her, even though they usually leave her alone when she's broody. Mary I'm sure would be a lovely companion, but I wouldn't trust the other two.Eggs would be so much fun, provided they let her set.
It was lovely! I should do it more often.Looks wonderful. What a treat for you.
She is bottom of your pecking order so you could have problems like I have with Phyllis. The thing to renege is that they don't seem to amenable to moving. Has she always gone broody in the big coop?If the time comes for eggs, she'll be in the little coop in a corner of the run, with puppy play pen panels keeping the others out. I'm not in the position to take the financial risk, sadly. Maybe after the house's renovations are finished? But even then, I'll need to think about my superannuation.I would have to move there just so I could stop in every day. I can work remote so let me know when you open it!
No, the little one in the run.She is bottom of your pecking order so you could have problems like I have with Phyllis. The thing to renege is that they don't seem to amenable to moving. Has she always gone broody in the big coop?
Isn't it! And think of the jobs it could provide. At least two full-time and work for a caterer. What a nice daydream!
I would plan around that. She will likely use the same nest as she feels it is safe. No, the little one in the run.
