I recall Sandy was always underfoot too. I figured when she was a chick she probably only socialised with other chicks and humans. So, she may have patterned to human more than chicks raised by hens. It's all hypothesizing of course.Another one who is under my feet a lot.

There does come a point though that a bond not so food dependant can be established. Some of the hens that gather around the chair where I sit are not after food.
What exactly it is that I provide in such cases I doubt I will ever be sure of.
