MJ's little flock

I am trying to tell all your red ones apart. The one in the foreground not molting has a distinct white tail. Does she have a name yet?
I haven't even been trying to learn the allotment crew. Except for Henry and Matilda, who are so easy to recognise. When Shad said he couldn't tell them apart I knew I probably never would.

I agree. It took me a while to get it but it definitely helps. My only problem is that there is enough room for even a half asleep chicken to walk off down the roost as I approach.
Still, it's got to be so much better than cornering them in the broad daylight.

We're back from seeing Mark and Mary has mild peritonitis. So glad we caught it early!

So the hens are on linco for a week.

He was very happy with Peggy's condition, so the diet with supplements continues for her.
The funny thing is @RoyalChick the only symptom that I saw was the two funny eggs this week.

From her behaviour, you'd think she was healthy. And yet peritonitis would be painful.

Yes, that is quite worrying. Did he explain how he knew that was the problem?
