It's forecast to be a hot day (but not very hot). 35°C and it's always 1 or 2° hotter at our place. I've started the misting early so there will already have been a lot of evaporation when the day is at its hottest. It's especially important with Peggy on the nest all day. She is extremely irritable, by the way. More so than Mary or Ivy ever have been.

So far, Peggy has been up off the nest every morning at 8ish. Once up, she's very bright and happy with herself, literally scampering around instead of walking. My friend who pulls weeds out for me visited yesterday and threw all the weeds into the run, so I guess there's a lot for Pegsy to be excited about I haven't got the fertile eggs yet, but I'll pop down to the rooster house this evening and see if they'll give me a few.

I'm doing fairly well, thanks for asking. Yep, I'm keeping up with them and I only have one range of motion that's a challenge. I call it, the throwing position, it's only at 49%

Those are so pretty

Nearly at 50% Grammy!

The 21-22 season has been genuinely outstanding.

And the plotlines! Genius.

Hi Grammy I'm good thanks and the weather is warm but not hot. I think I'll take the plunge and get four fertile eggs for Peggy. By the time they hatch, I should have more free time to keep watch. My work is progressing and I'm satisfied with my progress but my schedule is out the window. Rather than contain my friends and family to weekends, I'm seeing them whenever and working whenever. So far it's working well, but I'm declining one in five invitations to free up enough time for work.

How are you going? Are you keeping up with your exercises?

I feel like there was a big announcement in here that you are trying to slip by.

Did you say you are going to get fertile eggs for Peggy to hatch?!

I cannot say that I am surprised. Sansa would be a terror as a broody.
