Hubby and I went to the zoo today.

It looks like a cozy workspace with lots of natural light. I love the paneled doors and the door knob.
It seems unusual to have a room with two doors though. What was the room's original purpose do you know?

It was always a single bedroom with a cellar under it with a sleepout attached. Nana used the sleepout as a sewing room in her later life. Before that the sleepout was my uncle's bedroom when he was a young adult and at that time, the single bedroom with the cellar had a tenant who was a uni student from Sweden. Before him, it would've been one of the great aunts' bedroom. In time, I'll convert the sleepout to a bathroom that will be safe as I age.

I had a good look at your desk MJ and is it....curved at the front? Amazing!

Also, perhaps you could get a nice wooden box or something to raise your laptop up and save your neck .

I do have a large raised screen stored in the cellar but haven't yet had the chance to get it set up. I've been busy. Maybe next weekend I'll get a little time.

She was off the nest for about four hours today. Her own choice.

Tomorrow morning Ivy and Jan have checkups.
