I've read that Adelaide has more earthquakes than the other cities but I haven't seen the data yet. There were a couple of big ones in the 1900s. It does seem to usually happen at Mount Barker.

It does seem an oversight. Especially when you could close off that gap by making the feed bin larger, which would be a selling point.

It looks like it has partitions in the feeder? If so, can they be lifted out for cleaning?

Those are food grade plastic containers and they do come out for cleaning. I don't see that they serve much purpose and I don't think I'll put them back.
