MJ's little flock

Does she do that even when picked up from below?
Aurora is an "untouchable". I am not allowed to touch her so it is always traumatic when I do it, no matter how.

Her and Sydney both will not accept touching in any manner and are big enough to struggle vigorously.

I notice that happens with my heavy bird Isbe. Its like she fears her balance isn’t good, and she might fall. She has been like this even as a chick, though.
Aurora and Sydney have been like this from day one when they arrived. They will both eat out of my hands but I dare not touch them.

I think the big birds feel unsafe, no matter how they're handled. The little ones I can cup in my hands & prevent panic.
Hattie is fine with me touching or picking her up. She is my biggest lady.

If the people providing the polling station want to raise money, yes they put on a sausage sizzle and maybe other things like a cake stall or jumble sale. We call it a Democracy Sausage.
This turn of phrase made me chuckle.

As Australians always vote on a Saturday and voting is compulsory, there is always high voter turnout for both state and federal elections.

I imagine turnout is good if it is "compulsory". 😆

It's a lovely day in Adelaide and there was no queue at all  amazing. I had a friendly word with the official on the entrance, the one on the list, and the one at the exit, perfect!

No sausage sizzle though.
I'm sorry there was no sausage for you.
