Mary's spa session went well.

I didn't put anything on her head in the end. But I worked very gently. She stood up twice but sat down again immediately. I found it best to work from the top of the cake downwards but I had to clear my line of sight first, so her fluffs will be a little lopsided for a while. There was a big cake stuck very close to her skin. Working from the top down gave me a chance to see which feather shaft needed cutting next.

She'll be much more comfy with that clump gone.

Next time I'd like sharper scissors.

I remember Charlie having a really big dag and it was pulling at her skin. I’m glad I removed it when I did.
