MJ's little flock

I was about to write that I think that's a great warm climated coop.
So far (nearly 4 years) it's kept the hens safe at night, and I'm including safe from the weather in that thought.

I've made lots of adjustments, from using bedding to the misting system to various roost configurations. Like your new coop, it wasn't ideal off the shelf but it was a reliable starting point.

I was reading a tedious paper on zero trust and risk management when my very favourite noise landed in my ears. I had to go see who was speaking

I am not sure. I think when it is 100 I feel -10 is better. But I remember how worried I was at -10.
I just don't like extremes.
Nope. I'd rather lock them in for a couple of days than try to make them cooler somehow. The heat here usually includes humidity which makes watering things down ineffective much of the time. There is just so much less you can do. I could supply a heater if I need too in really cold temps.

I'm reading the weekend away because I'm leading a bookclub discussion Monday night.

And I'm getting desperate for something that doesn't feel like work, so tell me: What's everyone up to this weekend?

Right now, it's dinner time!

Two more chapters to go before I'm halfway through and ready for bed. It doesn't sound like much and I'll do it, but I've been reading since 11am and I'm over it.

Tomorrow I'll read the second half of the book.

I rushed an assignment Friday because next week is taken up with hospital stuff so wasted a wet Saturday surfing you tube & cruising Amazon for Kindle books. So far I've read the free download of a Dorothy L. SAYERS bio & am now immersed in a Gerritons murder which I had meant to keep for hospital. Oh, well. I'll just have to download another one. Working my way through a crochet project if Kirby stays out of my lap. Marlows tucked up beside me & out of the way but I've made myself headache & not long for bed.
