MJ's little flock

Good evening MJ and everyone 😊😴

Wow, amazing story, thanks for sharing it

Introducing our new girls

We’ve just been to the zoo and purchased three (hopefully) pullets (not sure how old; ‘a couple of months’ is the best I could get). They are:

Angel (named and chosen by my son)

They’re a barnyard mix, which is what I wanted. I think Bella is the one making baby-peeps, she could be about 16-18 weeks old. She’s tiny and has some Frizzle in her.
Lovely new chickens 😍

The river chickens made themselves at home all day. They took loads of dust baths, explored every corner, found the water and the food, and joined in at dinner time. The four hens took them at face value and didn't turn a hair!

I can't believe this is going so smoothly. Both the river chickens and your hens are so laid back! Please tell me what your secret is 🤣.

They're all very cute. Love the funny hair do's ! I'm sure they'll be good for your soul 🙂.

I think that is the secret! The river chickens are just so confident and cheerful they've tricked the hens into accepting them without question.

On the other hand, the pullets hide from everyone.

This kid gets me. Look at her sitting there where she can reach the crumbs without getting up!
