I'm pleased to say there's no trace of Mary's eye injury and she has her pre-broody appetite back.

Here she is, with her healed eye to the camera and dinner all over her beak. That eye was closed for a full day.

What has she got in store for me next, I wonder? A sprained ankle? A cut from her own spur perhaps?

Glad she is all healed up.

I'm a little worried about Lorna today. She was listless and breathing heavily this morning.

She's on the watch carefully list. If she's no better tomorrow, I'll make an appointment for her with Mark.

Tomorrow there will be a bruise on my right arm.
