I know it sounds silly, but I am really hoping they decide things for themselves. I am still hoping that their interest in being with other chickens will get them moving into the coop.

It should happen eventually. Especially as they're all living in the same house.

How big is that hawk? I'm not certain what the scale is in these photos. It doesn't look that large to me.

Looks like a juvenile. Hubby thinks he was sheltering from the wind and caught a lizard.

Luring would surely work out well. Especially if there's something you could use to block off access to the rafter zone.

Unfortunately I failed to block off the rafters.
