Christa wanted her photo taken.

She's going to be devastated if Joyce doesn't make it. On the other hand, last night Joyce made quite a few normal poops, so I think her gut is not as blocked as it was. A great sign that her internal swelling is reducing. She had her second batch of vitamins and antibiotic injections last night. Her third batch will be Monday evening.

I have a rare day with no plans. The weather is too cold and wet for working outside, so I'm going to get a few indoor non-chickening tasks completed. If there's time, I'll assemble the second lot of nest boxes.

Looks very good to me. The poops that I've seen from my hens with EYP don't look like this at all.

It's a big change in her poops, which have been liquid for almost a month.

For sure the medication is working out for her.

It's been a very wet day. 2.2mm has fallen since 9am.

Joyce has her final pair of shots this evening, then a review on Friday. Her gut health is much improved and I saw very little pain posturing today, which may have been related to the rain. I'm WFH most of this week, so there'll be ample opportunity for observing her before Friday.
