My first home-cooked weekend breakfast for a while (farewell til next year, local cafes!) and it's my first ever taste of Katie's eggs.

The eggs were nuttier than I expected and the shells were very hard.

I think Edie might be getting ready to join the laying team because she hopped into the nest this morning and sat for a few moments before deciding to hop out again.

Janet found last week's wet and cold weather very hard, so the flock is having another week of bird probiotics in the water and kefir in the dinner mash. She's a little better already and it's only Tuesday.
