MJ's little flock

I haven’t had an African Violet in years. Sounds like a cactus is more your speed at the moment!
Well, there are a lot of succulents around the place :gig

For the time being, it'll have to be kefir purchased from the supermarket. When my schedule is a little less full, I'll see about starting kefir.

Angel’s broody again and it’s not even summer yet!
Broodies are so funny! Edie and Katie slept on the roost last night, but I had to pick Edie up and put her there. Katie put herself on the roost. They both tanked up thoroughly before turning in.

I'll consider myself lucky if they get to December before sitting again!

One broody and one legitimately needing the nest.

Both Edie and Katie spent all of yesterday in the backyard instead of the chicken run, foraging, eating, drinking, bathing, all the usual stuff. At the end of the day, they both put themselves on the roost.

Eta They're still speaking broody, but only a little. I'm sure they'll give up the tuk tuks completely before the end of the week.
