MJ's little flock

I was having trouble with the more complex puzzle on my phone and discovered that it is WAY easier to do these puzzles on a regular computer with a mouse. @ManueB since I think you are using a phone as well, I think you would find it much easier on a computer.

Very enjoyable, I really look forward to these puzzles! :)
I use my tablet with a stylus. If I can't wait, my phone with a stylus. The tablet is a lot easier.

It was a lovely warm day and every time I looked at Janet, she was stretched out in the sun. At one point, she was so still I thought she'd died.

Katie loves it too.
I think chickens look a lot cooler and relaxed when they sunbathe than when humans do it 🙂.

I didn't know the term sundowner and I love it. Is it supposed to be a cocktail or can it be any beverage ?

I don't have network access on my computer. (I cancelled our wifi subscription because the connection level was too low. Since I am in a very rural zone I would need to pay twice the price to have the same level as elsewhere, and we thought we didn't really need it since we have smart phones). I could share connection with my phone, but I haven't managed to do that without opening a Microsoft account which I am determined not to 🙂.

Network tax : who needs Netflix when you have blue sky and chicken TV ?

Totally agree - particularly when they fan out a wing like a beautiful shawl. I wonder, is sunbathing common in other birds? I have never seen the crows sunbathing.
🤔
But when it comes to relaxing in the sun, nothing beats a cat. They have been studying relaxation for thousands of years and have perfected their techniques!

I think any alcohol based drink. I think of it (maybe wrongly) as being a British Colonial, particularly Africa, phrase.
Gin & Tonic was widely believed (maybe accurately) to stave off malaria because of the quinine in the tonic water - and I think it was a very British Colonial thing to do end the working day with a G&T (Gin and Tonic) as the sun went down.
Having been given quinine as a child against malaria I can unequivocally say it is better in a G&T - though you may have to drink yourself under the table to get an effective dose!

Fascinating. I have the exact opposite problem. I have almost no cell phone reception around my house and so the only way my phone works is if it is close enough to the WiFi from the house. Sometimes I can get one bar of reception but it fades in and out.
The Chicken Palace is right on the edge of the WiFi zone so I am often to be seen waving my phone up above my head in the hope of it catching the WiFi signal to upload a photo to BYC!
Every time my cell phone provider tries to upsell me to their 5G plan I always respond with 'Call me back and I will consider it when you can provide even basic reception in my back yard'
