It was a beautiful funeral and everything but it was even harder than I was prepared for.

Everyone has gone home and its just Todd and I now.

I just want to give you a big hug Grammy. I know all too well what it feels like when the world goes about its daily business like nothing happened, and you and your family are left standing to pick up the pieces of your shattered lives.

Edie hasn't been herself lately. I don't think she's eating enough. She may have a GI obstruction or something like that, so I'm taking her to see the vet tomorrow morning. Hopefully a crop lavage will put her right but if not they'll know which tests to run.
