I'm very glad you have her. Cats are exceptional companions when you aren't feeling well. She's very good company as I slowly recuperate from covid.
Is this the first time you have contracted it?

Ugh. Poor you. I have only had it twice and the fortunately neither time was particularly bad.Thirdrecovery takes longer each time.

This certainly doesn’t apply for everyone. My daughter had Covid 3x. But the last time it was milder than the other 2 times.Thirdrecovery takes longer each time.
That's lucky! Do you test yourself every time you catch a cold?Ugh. Poor you. I have only had it twice and the fortunately neither time was particularly bad.
Not unusual at all. Most people are that way unfortunately. That's lucky! Do you test yourself every time you catch a cold?
One of my senior colleagues said she'd never had it then it turned out she never tests herself when she's unwell, so she would have had it for sure and has probably been spreading it around.
I don’t know if I would have tested myself this most recent time if it hadn’t been for a family birthday in a public place. I truly thought it was a medium cold with bronchitis, which I get a lot. I didn’t have a fever that I was aware of, although I had night sweats one (and only one) night. It was a very mild case, which I credit to vaccinations and two (?) previous cases, plus the predicted broadening and weakening of the virus. Not unusual at all. I had masked for the two days that I had respiratory symptoms, just out of common courtesy. No one needs to be the unwilling recipient of a cold or anything else.
Yes I test. I am vaccinated (including last week) and wear a mask on planes and trains, and try really hard to wash my hands and not touch my face if I have been out and about. That's lucky! Do you test yourself every time you catch a cold?
