I finally found my camera!!!While hatching Faverolles I somehow got a Faverolle X Australorp. One of the Australorp roosters must have got in with the hens.
Anyway, it looks like an Australorp only with feathered feet and brown streaks down its back and wings.![]()

Not good. Chicks are still dying, the bigger ones (not by much) keep trampling them to death. So I had to borrow a heat lamp from our neighbours and split the bigger ones up from the smaller ones. Hoping this works.![]()

Yes, separating the ones that are trampling from the ones that are being trampled will keep the trampling from happening.

Just got back from camping, boy am I tired. Nine hours of sleep the whole weekend. haha The chickens are doing well, as well as the chicks. They sure do grow up fast.![]()
