MKK Farms. Updates, pics, and stories!

Okay, I've got 22 eggs incubating between two incubators and I just got a Silver Laced Wyandotte chick on Saturday. That's pretty much all, I am looking out for some new layers but its been pretty quiet around here except for gardening stuff.

EDIT: The little Wyandotte chick died.

Aw. :hugs   I'm sorry!

I hope your hatch goes well!!! :fl

Thanks, me too. My guess is that I will get thirteen chicks out of this hatch. My homemade incubator is kind of sketchy.

Update:

The hatch in my large homemade incubator is looking bad...But on a better note, the hatch in my small incubator is doing awesomely from what I can see during candling, and my garden is doing pretty well too. :)

Yeah. How are you birds?

Nice! Hope all that goes well. Are you going to sell chicks?

Yeah I might sell day olds and 10 weeks old. But I'm aways out so not making plans that far ahead. My blue Cochin hens r broody and have pure bred pekin duck eggs so will also sell started ducks.
