Who was making dinner and what was for dinner?Okay. Dinner was ready, so I had to go eat, but here are the pictures:
This is with the lid on and from the front.
This one is with the lid off and from a different angle. I had to add a piece of cardboard to the top so that the cardboard barrier followed the lid. The cardboard also goes under the light along the wire bottom (which is about an inch or two above the bottom of the cooler itself). The foil on top help block the light from shining too brightly in my eyes and I was using it as a heat shield before I "installed" the cardboard.
There are other pictures on my thread, but they may be difficult to find. You could try the "search this thread" button below the editing area; I think searching "heat diffuser" or "cardboard" or "room" (believe it or not). I've mentioned the cooler-bator and incubators otherwise, so that wouldn't help much I don't think. =)

I agree. I build chicken coops, so that should count for something. XDYou should try sometime. If nothing else its a great learning experience.

Oh just wondering, how many coops/barns do you have?
I have an odd assortment of coops and stuff. (Including one my dad sawed in half :/ I'm still aggravated about that) 1 big chicken coop, 2 smaller coops, and a handy dandy brooder. We used to have a bunch of movable PVC and chicken wire cages, but they were really terrible. I was done after a year and a half!Yeah, it only takes a few hours and a few bucks.
