Sorry, this one used to drive me nuts when I lived in Georgia.

I allow myself a SODA or 2 a week. Corn syrup is poison. Stay away from it.

You can still get sugar Dr Pepper from Dublin, TX anytime. It's a long drive for me, and shipping is pretty hefty if you order a few cases (I'm an addict! I've driven down there and I've ordered cases!!)

Iced Tea (gotta add the "iced" up here or you get hot tea) is one of my favorite drinks. It's gotten a lot more popular up here in the last few decades. We actually fresh brew it now, not use a mix.

Around here if you want hot tea you have to be very specific, sometimes even telling them how to brew it. Good to know I can safely order sweet tea in the North now. On trips to PA, I used to ask if it was a mix

or brewed.

Around here, tea is cold and sweet. Hot tea is almost unheard of.

Back on topic (kind of) I prefer Pepsi over Coke. After all this talk I'm going to have to try a Pepsi Throwback!

I haven't tried the Pepsi throwback or the Mt. Dew. I grew up drinking Coke (when my mother would let us have it!) but I can drink either one. I wish Coke would have a throwback...I do not like the way they changed it. They claim they went back to the old formula for the coke classic but it still doesn't taste right. Will try the Pepsi throwback.

On a side note: my breakfast of choice is Code Red Mountain Dew (when I can find it, the convenience stores around here are not carrying it) and a Milky Way bar....good to go for 8 hours!

By the way Coke is not a brand name or product line. Coke is a slang southern term for carbonated drinks that the Coca-Cola bottling company later trademarked. The brand is Coca-Cola an so is the product.
