I'm not sure yet if I will be able to make it to the potluck, but I do think it would be a good idea to maybe split an order. Myself, I change what I think I want from day to day. Today's wish list is: 1 r.c. RIR, 1 sil duckwing ameraucana, 1 wheaton Ameraucana bantam, 1 welsummer and one r.c. Mottled Ancona (sadly I have to limit myself to 5 adult birds). Tomorrow I am sure I will want something different. I'm almost considering just getting one of the bargain assortments and getting whatever luck gives me if others have an interest in splitting it.

Spookey, is anyone bringing cheese and crackers? If not, that's what I'll bring.
Do you keep your button quail as pets? Can you eat the eggs or are they too small?

Cheese and crackers have not yet been spoken for, so I'll put you down for 'em.

I keep the buttons as pets. You probably could eat the eggs, though they're very small. I don't.

I've hatched every one they've laid.

Due to the weather, the party may be a bit cozier than expected. The basement is like a refrigerator right now. I have a heater going down there but it's not doing a whole lot of good. There's still the entire main level of the house.

Can I get a roll call of how many people were going to bring birds and which ones they were going to bring? I'm thinking we can probably still put the birds down there - just in the entry way and not in the main basement room.
