Hi all! Just want to say I'm getting really excited to meet all of you who understand this chicken stuff and won't think I have totally lost my mind! I just gave the go ahead to have my BLRW eggs sent out next week since its gonna warm up. Pretty excited to get started on this breed! Good thing I just moved the welsummers to the big brooder! Also I do have a couple cockerels or pullets to part with if anyones interested. They are mutts but nice looking birds - 3 1/2 months old. One of the roos I'm almost sure is pure Jersey Giant. He's huge already and has possible jersey giant for both parents.
Anyway looking forward to seeing you all Sat!

I am also on the Twin Cities Chickens board, and there are a number of Twin Cities backyard chicken people there... may I mention the gathering? I was just assuming that people were on both boards, but apparently not!
