On page 7 a bunch of you were talking about Urch Turnland Poultry. I believe that is Duane Urch the poultry judge and he has very nice birds. I do know that he lives in that area and sells many breeds so I do believe that is one in the same. I would definitely buy from him. He is very nice too.
 
Thanks for the info Kris I will definately be giving him a try this spring for some nice quality cochins provided he has what im looking for. Spooky, I will bring tortilla wrap appetizers and a 7 layer taco dip with corn chips

Everyone I know thinks I’m crazy for keeping chickens, so I’m interested to find out it chicken keepers really are crazy. I am in the market for a new hen or two, nothing to trade except for cash though.

I do love pot lucks- cooking is not my thing and I think I have worn-out the wife with some other recent potlucks for work and such, so maybe I’ll bring pop/ juice unless its been spoken for.

Owning chickens is no more crazy than owning any other animal. Chickens are relaxing to sit and watch and fun to have around, plus they help to feed you!! Tell anyone that, if they keep telling you, you're crazy. I don't even have my chickens yet, but my friend down the street does. I consider her chickens mine until I get my own this spring. I go visit them almost everyday.
