Investigating Mobile app alert cancel

On the app if you check your alerts using the lightning bolt there is no red x to cancel the list unless you go to another page from your alerts or you have to carefully touch the very edge of the screen to cancel.

Which device / browser are you using, and can you post a screenshot?

Are you referring to closing the drop box that shows the alerts? Or the actual alerts page?

Yes the drop down box. I always use the app. I have a sony xa2 with chrome and android 8. I've never had it.

The box should close by tapping anywhere outside it on the screen. It doesn't block clicking on links so if you hit something that's clickable it will perform that action.

That's why I asked about getting a red x to cancel it. I didn't think it was a fault. Just a minor improvement!
