KFChickenlady - got your address but no name to put with it. Will your mail carrier deliver to "KFChickenlady or think it is "suspicious mail?" Can't be too careful nowadays. In case of stealth chickens I wouldn't want to use that name either.


If any of your friends want to volunteer your name I'd be most appreciative (NO tricks please). I know you are in and out all day, this could speed things along.

People have expressed a desire for more small contests, held on a rotation basis. With the conclusion of the Model coop contest, I am passing the torch to another character. Who knows what lurks in the dark confines of her mind? Stay tuned and we will all find out.


Without further ado - I am announcing KFChickenlady will hold the next contest (To be announced) feel free to email her, pm her and drive her up the wall. LOL. I can hardly wait to see what she dreams up for us. Please support her as well as you have supported me. As contests move around from one to another, we can all extract our revenge. Yeah! My prize arrived in the mail yesterday. Of course I grabbed DH and said, "I have to model it NOW! You need to take my pic so I can post it!" He says, "Honey, you are in your PJs and coveralls." I say, "they are my chicken friends...they will understand!" So here I am in all of my morning splendor! Please excuse the mess--me and the kitchen!

I am wearing the waist pack to a swap this Sunday!

The Great Edible Poultry Model Contest!

Ending Date: Easter Sunday, Midnight PDST
Prizes announced by May 1

This is a For Fun Contest! I have been asked to continue the contest party, in the spirit of the Model Coop Contest, and this is what Ive come up with:

Entries are to be photographed and a list of materials included, as well as a Name for your creation. All materials used in the model Must Be Edible! and I dont mean things not normally considered food, like paste! No toothpicks, no glue, staples, nails, etc. Other than that, have at it!
I get to pick the winners, no complaining, no bribery, no deadline extensions, no changing rules. You can always take on the next contest if you have a good idea and like to be the queen/king for a day or more.

The divisions will be as follows:
Judges Favorite (the entry I like the best, no particular reason)
Most Elaborate
Cutest
Funniest
Yummiest Looking

The prizes havent been chosen yet but they will all be made of Easter Chocolate from Sees!

Okie dokie KFChickenlady - we are talking about edible CHICKEN coops right - just want to be sure we are on the Same page. I love edibles - as long as they consist of candy and no veggies - no problem. I'm wondering what to use as mortar besides icing - I suppose egg whites but then I wouldn't want to eat it after photographing. Hmmm.

I'm getting yummy ideas even as we speak. Of course I didn't see this until I got home from the grocery store - boo!
