I can't say enough good things about this site. As a new chicken raiser, as of December, it's been instrumental in keeping my chick(en)s happy, healthy and safe.

There's never a shortage of willing members to offer advice, guidance and support when things inevitably go wrong.

I often hear of people having terrible experiences from other websites due to how they're treated because of this or that, and I love telling them about BYC and how they won't get that here because we have such a good moderation team that will stop anyone who tries treating the members that way. And even beyond that, I feel like BYC is a safe place to be because of the moderation team. I don't have to worry about being bullied by other members or the moderation team like I have on other forums over asking a simple or newbie question. Thank you moderation team for keeping BYC the fun forum it is!!

Also, special shout-out to our newest moderator, @Debbie292d! Since I've been on BYC, I haven't seen any new moderators join the team (which I wasn't always paying attention, so others may have been added and I didn't know) and when I saw @Debbie292d get added, I got so excited that it literally made my day. She's an excellent BYC member and I believe it is an awesome position for her.
