her daddy was a showbird, a nice bbr. She has THE best personality I have ever witnessed in a chicken.. And she has managed to weasel her way indoors.

Thats funny so has mine. Started last summer she sneak in and take a nap behind the computer or sit on the kitchen window sill (on the inside) and stare at her flock mates with a certain cockiness. I bred her in the fall and now I have baby Roadrunners (thats her name) #chickennerd

Here is a picture of her in ecstasy (taking a dirt bath) ... who said chickens dont feel pleasure! Obviously someone who hasnt seen them take a dirt bath haha



This is her son who is such a beauty. He was born in Nov and now ready to take on a girlfriend. Id love to aquire that lemon blue similar to yours. If you want to see some outstanding MG's look at @juliechick she raises them. I have learned a thing or two about this wonderful breed from her.

Ours have them too...I don't know why but it doesn't seem to cause problems or indicate anything bad so far as I can see. DH and I call them "racing stripes"
