L brackets now I see how. That's easy enough.

Yep, L brackets bent out to 'fit' curve, then filed and peened to not tear tarp.
Had those in my stash,came off a piece of furniture, tried to buy more couldn't find them that size.

Gotta love the old hardware collection. I have one also and find the best goodies in there. Old barns have great stuff.

I am a confirmed hoarder and collector of fasteners of every size, shape, material, and description. Poor hubby. He resorts to stealth mode when he wants to get rid of something. "Don't throw THAT away, I might need it!" "What for?" "Well, I don't know, but I just might need it some day." "Well, if you keep it, will you put it some where where you can find it?" "Of course. I'll put it with the last 3 bags of fender washers that we bought." (sold by the # at the local Marden's salvage and surplus store at $2/#!!!). "You mean, the last 3 bags that we bought within the last year that you can't find?" "Yep, those are the ones, have you seen them?"

I probably had those brackets for 10-20 years,
I think there's one left after the hoop coop.

Problem with old hardware, is you usually need one more than you have...so sad.
