Levi shrank back into the brush. He couldn't understand why his father did this to the stallions, but he hated it when he did.

Jet stood protectivly in front of Twilight, his massive body making the other seem small "Back off" He growled

Twilight whined a little bit. She felt dangerously small, she couldn't, she wouldn't get hurt physically again. "Jet, Jet" Twilight whispered. She couldn't make herself speak louder.

Flip nipped Jet's shoulder and shouldered him aside. "Move it," he said, fiercely.

The large black horse hardly moved from the shove and hit Flip's shoulder hard with his front hooves, sending him flying back "I said keep back" He snarled

Flip was furious. "You wretched beast," he spat. "Get out of my herd!" He ended his command with a sharp kick from his iron-shod hooves. He reared up on his hind legs, his forefeet pawing the air, and he let out a sharp whinny.
