RedWind and FireShadow stood together, looking out across the prairie. Their herd was nearby, but they made sure flip couldn't hear them.
"I know I could give Flip another foal but I want your foal." RedWind said. This argument had been repeated over and over in loops and now the sun was setting.
"RedWind, it's not as simple as that. Flip could kick me out at any time. If he did, I'd loose everything. Whatever I do, whatever decisions I make, I have to think of what Flip would think. Do you know how hard that is?" FireShadow was getting impatient.
"Of course I don't know how hard it is. I'm a mare. I am not up myself but for arguments sake I am beautiful. Mares don't need to worry about the same stuff you do. But please, just one foal wouldn't hurt."
"No. You must listen. I have to stay Here. It's all I have." FireShadow walked away, leaving RedWind by herself.
