RedWind and FireShadow stood together, looking out across the prairie. Their herd was nearby, but they made sure flip couldn't hear them.
"I know I could give Flip another foal but I want your foal." RedWind said. This argument had been repeated over and over in loops and now the sun was setting.
"RedWind, it's not as simple as that. Flip could kick me out at any time. If he did, I'd loose everything. Whatever I do, whatever decisions I make, I have to think of what Flip would think. Do you know how hard that is?" FireShadow was getting impatient.
"Of course I don't know how hard it is. I'm a mare. I am not up myself but for arguments sake I am beautiful. Mares don't need to worry about the same stuff you do. But please, just one foal wouldn't hurt."
"No. You must listen. I have to stay Here. It's all I have." FireShadow walked away, leaving RedWind by herself.

Hi ho Silver, away!

Skittles gently swished her tail while munching lazily on a tuft of rather course grass.
It had taken her several weeks to properly adjust to the drastic food change and still some of it bothered her. S
he had always been a little picky and at home could almost always get away with it, but sadly here, not so much.

Skypaint danced around on the outskirts of the herd, just barely a mare she still had a lot of filly left. Wildly she snatched at the butterfly, which was a little over kill, often the gust of wind caused by her jumping sending it only further away.

Terry galloped and leapt through the field, feeling the wind blowing against him. He still missed his parents deeply, but he wasn't going to show that in front of the other horses. He skidded to a halt and looked over the ravine, down to what used to be a surging river. It now crept lazily along, affected by the fact that it hadn't rained for a long time.

Skypaint caught sight Terry out of the corner of her eye and instantly stopped, standing ridged with her ears pricked.

Sky's ears flattened momentarily and her tail swished, "Torry?"

"Hi," Terry said. He looked over Skypaint's shoulder to see a butterfly flying by. He galloped over and jumped in the air, only to have the butterfly glide out of reach.
