A mare of odd coloring stood on a hill, her fairly short mane of pure snow blowing around gracefully like the snow-misted winds of a blizzard, her white body patched with a peculiar dun coloration that was oddly striped with prominent black streaks.

She was beautiful; her eyes were inquisitive and dark chocolate and an aire of serenity surrounded her as she stood on a hill of the grassland; a picture percfect scene. Across her face was a long scar, but still, her beauty was unfettered.

Sky walked on to a new grazing spot, Skittles made a short, deep umpf'ing sound as her foal kicked, a rabbit sneezed in the distance.

Flip looked where Twilight indicated. "I don't know..." he mused. "But it's a female. We'll leave her alone for now."

This is a -VERY- basic map of the area.

"Okay. Is that the Spring! Its gorgeous!!!" Twilight galloped away joyfully towards the Spring.

As though on cue, the mare looked in the direction of Flip and noticed Skyherd. Gingerly, she began walking, in a slow trot, toward the bustling herd.

Flip laughed and ran to join her, but turned at the crest of the hill. A wind blew his black mane across his face. He looked gallant, standing there with the setting sun making his golden coat blaze. Looking down on his herd, he sent a prayer of thanks for this blessing up to heaven and turned back to follow Twilight.

Dahlia and her mate sipped from the spring.
