I assume that the mold on the wood, is because the wood wasn't sealed with a lacquer or finish or paint. I suggest spraying diluted bleach onto it and letting it air dry. I would use the 1 part bleach to 3 parts water if I were you. You should rinse it after the bleach has dried to try and rid of the smell or vapors of the bleach. If you have eggs in this cabinet, I suggest putting them in the other cabinet, or another type of incubator, maybe a 'quick rigged hatcher.' I wouldn't leave those eggs with that mold.

Do I paint the bator inside and out or just inside or just outside?

The most important thing now is to treat the mold and complete the hatch. Nothing's going to stick properly now with that heat and humidity going on in there. Once that is done, scrub that incubator inside out and let it dry 100%. I asked my DH for suggestions and he told me he heard of new paints being developed that doesn't give off fumes and is completely "child safe" etc. Ask at your local paint shop about it. I'd suggest you paint every nook and cranny so the mild has nowhere to stick if it wants to come back. There are mold resistant products on the market now also. Ask about that too. Sorry, I'm not in the US I can't suggest anything specific. Good luck!

Yeah I believe the air flow is good. I'm gonna add another hole to exit air on the bottom

Bleach will not kill mold! Only remove its color, it will then grow back from under the paint. I use a home made wood preservative made from propylene glycol (2 parts) boric acid (1 part) and boraxo (1 part) cooked down (outside fumes are poison) 50%, but I dont know that I would use it in a bator,,,, it does kill mold dead as well as dry rot. Do not reuse the pan, throw it away. There are similar products out there already made. Good luck, mold is hard to get rid of completely!

Vinegar would also work well, use straight white vinegar in a spray bottle, and treat the molded area about once a day for 5-8 days. Watch the area to see if there is any mold growth, and after a couple weeks, I would say it is fine to use some type of sealer, varnish, or paint. I recommend a polyurethane type varnish. It will seal the wood pretty good.

Cloralex will work 100% NaClO its a concentrated formula not like Clorox that only has 6% NaClO pre-diluted You will find it on Mexican stores such Vallarta supermarket, etc. even in some 99¢ stores. Good luck
