Molting or feather pulling? Updated with pics!

Ive got 11 hens and 3 roosters in my hen house, and they all seem to be getting along fine. It's funny, they each have their girlfriends that they were hatched with, and they sort of hang out in these little "cliques".

I hatched a lavender orpington and a black orpington together (trying for a color called Isobel), and got a roo and a hen. Only two eggs hatched from that group, but they're always together. Then, I hatched three Buckeyes out, and I ended up with a roo and two hens, and they stick together. Then the orps and buckeyes were raised together in the same brooder. So they all get along just fine. Then I was given a Coronation Sussex trio, and they are my youngest chickens right now, and I've just integrated them with the flock. And they are always together too.

So the three roosters so far work out just fine. I hope you can keep both of your roosters. Think about getting some hen savers or hen aprons if your girls get any balds spots on their backs. They do protect the hen's back, allowing feathers to grow back, and you can get some really cute patterns.....(One of my hens, that I don't have anymore wore one with sunflowers on it and she looked darling!)

If you have time, just pull up a chair and watch your chickens interact while they're in the run. If it's not a rooster pulling out that hen's feathers, you might just catch the guilty hen in action, pulling feathers. They will do that if they're a bit crowded, or if they get bored, like in the winter time when they're cooped up more.

Anyhow, good luck to you, and I hope you figure everything out,
Sharon

Should she be due for a full molt this time of year? She was a year old in April, and it seemed like she was going through a mini molt when I got her then.

Yes, she's the right age for a full molt.

I'll watch and take some pictures tonight, hopefully I can narrow down the culprit. It seems the likely candidates are molting, feather pulling from another hen or a rough roo.

Thanks everyone!

I just added some pictures of the hen in question to my main post. A few of my Black Copper Marans hens also have a little thinning in the same area, but not nearly as bad.
